Get to know Jeff...
A global real estate advisor with the Downtown Sarasota office of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, Jeff DeJongh has over 25 years of business ownership, management, and sales experience in the insurance, financial services, medical, and dental professions. A native Floridian, he grew up in Bradenton and graduated from the University of Florida in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
Previously, Jeff spent 15 years in the corporate world, working for First Union (now Wells Fargo), AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, Nobel Biocare, and The Hartford. In 2012, he built a successful property and casualty insurance agency from scratch, later selling the business in 2021.
As a lifelong resident of the Sarasota area, Jeff’s community ties run deep. He is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Sarasota and serves on the board of directors for The Sarasota Kiwanis Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides annual grants to local programs benefiting children and seniors. Previously, he was on the board of directors for The Foundation for Dreams, a nonprofit dedicated to providing mentally and physically disabled children summer camp experiences tailored to their specific needs. He is also a former committee chair for the Forty Carrots Family Center golf tournament, an essential fundraising event for the preschool and family center.
Jeff and his wife, Tatiana, are the proud parents of two children, Brynn and Blake. His passion is his family and cheering on Brynn, a competitive sailor, and Blake, a competitive golfer. The family’s dog, Toby, is a Labrador retriever who loves to go on boat and car rides. Jeff enjoys spending his free time either on the golf course or the water. He is also an avid snow skier and lived and worked in Beaver Creek, Colorado, during the spring of 1997.
